Nigerian Journalist, Darlington Chidera Ibekwe, earlier reported that Nwoko had approached the family of Emmanuella for their daughter’s hand in marriage but he was turned down. He said, “Emmanuella’s family shuns Ned Nwoko’s marriage list, informs him that Emmanuella is not Regina Daniels.” Reacting to the news which has since gone viral, Emmanuella refuted the claims. A source claimed that the cook and nanny, who were responsible for the three-year-old boy’s care, had been imprisoned for a variety of offenses, including neglecting the child. Ifeanyi, who celebrated his third birthday on October 20 with an extravagant celebration, was said to have drowned on Monday night in the pool at Davido’s home in the affluent Banana Island neighborhood of Lagos.It was also said that Davido and Chioma had left for Ibadan for a family function, leaving Ifeanyi with his nanny and other domestic workers. After Ifeanyi passed away, the police questioned eight home workers, including his nanny and chef.
